It’s paragliding time for the village of Gourdon 06

An exceptional and large-scale event is to take place in August 2024. After thoroughly studying our file and coming to test it in situ and in real conditions, during a pre-world competition, the International Paragliding Federation chose the Gourdon site to organize a World Cup event.

The Gourdon 06 Paragliding club « Lei Courpatas » is proud to have been chosen to organize this international event.

Everyone worked extremely hard during the competitions organized in previous years on this magnificent free flight site.

The club leaders and the many volunteers, all of them active pilots, are preparing to host this event that will gather the world’s paragliding elite.

With the help of the Town Hall of Gourdon 06, we intend to organize information events, such as photo exhibitions and digital information, to explain what this World Cup will be like.

We hereby wholeheartedly thank the Village of Gourdon 06 for its involvement, because paragliding has now become inseparable from this magnificent site, highly valued by pilots all around the world.
